Introducing Our New Zoning Map
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new GIS website. The Chicago Zoning mapping system that you trust has been redeveloped with state-of-the art technology to improve your research experience.
Our GIS website has new functionality and features that will increase productivity and your bottom line. Included in the upgrade are more precise searching, including the ability to filter by zoning classifications, a better measuring tool, improved print features, a cleaner user interface and many more improvements.Included in this upgrade is the launch of our much anticipated, fully interactive green map, which identifies all LEED-certified and other sustainable buildings within Chicago. The map features the latest interactive tools that can be used with GIS. Users can access information on green buildings in the city, including the name of the organization or business that developed the property, pictures, links, certification level and many other characteristics.
In addition to the LEED buildings, this layer also hosts Chicago’s largest comprehensive database of green roofs, identifying where the structure is, the type of green roof system and the size of the green roof. The green map also overlaps and interacts with the other information that you know and trust from us, including zoning, transportation infrastructure, orthophotography and more. For more detailed information, check out our user guide.
With the purchase of the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, you also receive a free, one-year subscription to the Chicago Zoning Ordinance online, ensuring that you will never have out-of-date codes. For current subscribers, this upgrade to you comes at no additional cost. Call us at 312-644-7800 to renew your subscription today.
